A *Carrot* datatype used to store a job's total compensation.

### Properties

The `Comp` datatype supports the following properties:

| **Property**        | **Definition**                                     |
| ------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| *Comp*.**currency** | Returns the currency associated with a job's comp. |
| *Comp*.**base**     | Returns a job's base compensation amount.          |
| *Comp*.**variable** | Returns a job's variable compensation amount.      |
