Adding special questions
Single Select, Multiple Select, and Numeric Scale question types require additional configuration to work as intended.
You can use single and multiple select questions when prompting a user for either a single answer, or multiple answers to a single question respectfully.
For example, a condition where a multiple select question would be of better use could be when you want to collect a list of recent trainings that a user had recently attended.
You can configure a Single Select or Multiple Select question by following the steps below:
- Select either Single Select or Multiple Select from the Field type dropdown.
- One by one, add the desired answers in the Answers section.
- Assign each answer a color by selecting the color swatch to the right of the answer field.
- Remove unused answer fields by selecting the trash icon to the right of the answer field.
- Add empty answer fields by selecting + Add value at the bottom of the Answers list.
You can use numeric scale questions when prompting for an answer based on a single choice from a range of numbers.
For example, you could use a numeric scale question to have a user to rate an experience from a scale of 1 - 10.
You can configure a Numeric Scale question by following the steps below:
- Select Numeric Scale from the Field type dropdown.
- Select an option from the Answer type dropdown. Choose from the available NPS and Lickert scale options to pre-populate suggested answers, or select Custom to enter your own answers.
- If Custom is selected, choose the number of answers in the next dropdown.
- One by one, add the desired answers in the Answers section.
- Assign each answer a color by clicking on the color swatch to the right of the answer field.
- Once configured, select outside the active question block to collapse it.
