The Greenhouse app syncs with Greenhouse Applicant Tracking Software.
With this app turned on, ChartHop's open jobs list becomes the single source of truth for all of your open jobs. Recruiters, hiring managers, financial planners and team leads can all look at ChartHop for a real-time view of which roles are open and how recruiting is going.
In Greenhouse, a "Job" represents a particular position and a job can have any number of "Openings" (or reqs). Each ChartHop open job should correspond to exactly one job opening in Greenhouse.
Internally, ChartHop stores the Greenhouse job and opening as the greenhouseId custom field, separated by a slash, e.g. 123/456 means Greenhouse job id 123 and opening id 456.
If an open job on ChartHop does not have a greenhouseId field set, the app will match jobs by comparing names and locations. For example an open Software Engineer job in ChartHop in New York will look for a job in Greenhouse named Software Engineer also in New York. If the app can't find a job on the Greenhouse side that matches, it will create one.
ChartHop will only sync open jobs for which Recruiting status is set to Active. Whenever a change is made to a job, or Recruiting status is changed either from or to Active, the state of the job will be synced to the corresponding Greenhouse job opening. The app will send an email notification when either opening or closing a job req on Greenhouse.
On a daily basis, ChartHop will pull recruiting metrics back from Greenhouse. This information, per job opening, includes:
The above metrics will be used to forecast start dates.
When a hire is made in Greenhouse, ChartHop is automatically notified via webhook. The job opening that was hired is set to Pending status, and the person who has been hired is scheduled as a hire in that job on their start date.
From Greenhouse, create a new Harvest API Key from the API Credential Management page in Settings.
The Harvest API key should have the following permissions:
Paste the API key that is generated into the Greenhouse Sync configuration on ChartHop.
