Group aliases



Often, departments, teams, and locations are listed under different names across your HR platforms. You can use aliases to help consolidate into a single source of truth. Example: CS, Customer Service, Customer Success

Instructions for Departments

  1. Select Create Department from Manage Groups.
  2. For Department Name, enter the correct preferred department title for your organization.
  3. For Department Code, enter the short code or code number that you consistently use to identify this group in other platforms. You can leave this blank if you don't have code numbers for departments.
  4. For Aliases, enter the alternate department titles synced from your HRIS and ATS.
  5. If the department has a parent department, select the parent department under Parent GroupExample: Multiple support teams under different brands within the same company.
  6. Select Category.
  7. Upload an image if applicable.
