Returns a [String](docId\:Ujw2AQAktel5uukLuP73S) with all characters lowercased.

### Syntax

`lowercase(string)`

- `string` - the String value to be lowercased
- **Return type:** [String](docId\:Ujw2AQAktel5uukLuP73S) 

### Examples

- `lowercase("Hello world")` returns `hello world`
- `lowercase(title)` returns the current job's title, lowercased
