this feature is currently in alpha be one of the first customers to try it! please share any feedback with the charthop team how to set up an alpha feature contact charthop support mailto\ support\@charthop com or your csm if you have one they can activate the feature for you read below for setup instructions and context on how the feature will work the impact dashboard is a finance oriented view built into custom scenarios it gives planners and finance stakeholders a real time summary of the cost and headcount impact of any changes modeled in a scenario — without having to export data or build a separate report the impact dashboard is accessed via the impact tab inside a custom scenario what it shows the impact dashboard surfaces the financial and headcount delta between your current org and the scenario you're modeling it is organized into two main areas summary metrics at the top of the dashboard, you'll see high level totals for the scenario headcount change — the net increase or decrease in filled positions cost change — the net change in annualized compensation cost budget vs scenario cost — how the scenario's projected cost compares to the budget set on the scenario breakdown by dimension below the summary, costs and headcount changes are broken down by organizational dimensions the available dimensions are based on your organization's group fields (such as department and location) and enum fields (such as employment type or band) you can switch between dimensions to slice the data in the way that's most useful for your planning conversation each breakdown shows the current headcount and cost for that group the scenario headcount and cost for that group the delta (change) between them who can see it the impact dashboard is visible to anyone with access to the custom scenario however, financial data (compensation costs) is governed by each viewer's role and data access permissions — users who do not have compensation visibility will see headcount changes but not cost figures how to access it navigate to planning and open a custom scenario select the impact tab at the top of the scenario view note the impact tab only appears if the feature has been enabled for your organization by your csm
